Natural Levels

LEVEL

The degree of lightness or darkness, regardless of tone.

There are 10 natural haircolor Levels:

  • 6 - 10 are Blonde
  • 1 - 5 are Brown/Black

8.Light Blonde

TONE

The warmth or coolness of a color:

  • Warm Tones reflect light and appear lighter.
  • Cool Tones absorb light and appear darker.

BASE COLOR

The dominant base tone in any haircolor mixture will give a shade its overall characteristic.
