CLIENT SITUATION: This client's over-lightened blonde hair looks dull, flat and colorless. Although low lights were added as a corrective technique, the over-lightened porous hair lacks the contributing pigment necessary to hold color tone, and the result is color that fades quickly.

DEMI SOLUTION: Demi color acts as a "filler" for over-porous hair, replenishing the contributing pigment needed to hold rich color longer. To add warmth to over-lightened hair, restore dimension, and create interest, choose two shades within the Gold Pillar and place in panels around the head.

MODEL TECHNIQUES

Step 1: Section hair. Divide the head at temple by slicing deep zigzags, working around the head.

Step 2: Apply demi permanente Formula 1: 7G Medium Golden Blonde mixed with equal parts demi permanente developer to top section.

Step 3: Apply demi permanente Formula 2: 6G, Dark Golden Blonde mixed with equal parts demi permanente developer, to rest of hair. Process 20 minutes. Rinse, shampoo, condition.
